I took these photos today (9 January 2015). I listed the EXIF information below each photo. Also, all of these were hand-held, although I was sitting in a chair and proping my left arm on the arm rest for support for some of these shots.
So far I'm pleased with the lens, although it's very heavy to hold.
I think this is a great lens for bird photography.

Monica, we talked about a week ago about these lenses. I still haven't decided which one to buy - the Tamron or the Nikon. Have a question. How did you get a 6000mm of some on these images?
