Tony and I, along with two couples that are good friends of ours, went on a Collette tour (September 2025). It was called "Flavors of Portugal and Spain".
There were a total of 24 people on the tour. Philip S. was our tour manager. He was wonderful! He provided so much information on each place we visited, provided restaurant recommendations, and helped out with any issues or questions. He's a great story teller too.
He provided a schedule each evening for the next day. We were on the go every day, which sometimes it was tiring, but we saw so much! We enjoyed the food, drink, and company.
We went to a Port winery in Lisbon, did a boat ride on the Douro river, had fun at a cooking class, tasted olive oil at a small family-run place, visited the Marques de Riscal winery, checked out the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao, visited some coastal villages, to include a few in France, and had some great dinners together.
I loved the tour so much, I booked two more, one in 2026 and one in 2027.
